If you are a prospective student or other individual
interested in exploring the research opportunities available
in MDTP faculty labs:
- Click the "Alphabetical List" link for a compilation
of all 80+ trainers in MDTP.
- Click the "Research Interests" link for a list of 15 selected research areas with which
individual faculty have chosen to self-identify (each faculty
member picks up to 3 areas). These are informal groupings
although some of the linked pages have further links to
topical activities, research area meetings, and training
grants. One intent is to provide you with a list - inevitably
somewhat arbitrary - of relevant focus areas in which MDTP
has demonstrated research strength and multiple faculty
investigators. Another intent for those interested in particular
areas is to provide links to shorter lists of faculty affiliated
with those areas.
If you are a UW faculty member interested
in becoming an MDTP trainer:
- Click the "Becoming a Trainer" link for information
on trainer status, the application and review process, and
an application form.
- Click the "Program Guidelines" link for information
about MDTP such as faculty privileges and responsibilities,
periodic trainer review, and student requirements.
If you are a current MDTP faculty or staff
member:
- Click the "Program Guidelines" link for information
about MDTP such as faculty privileges and responsibilities,
periodic trainer review, and student requirements.
- Click the "Seminars" link to lead to the program
student seminar schedule and core department invited speaker
seminar schedules.
